Friends of Lyme Library (FoLL) was founded in 1983 to support the Converse Free Library and to enhance the community’s enjoyment of and involvement with the Library. We raise over $10,000 per year via donations and used book sales. The money is spent in support of these goals:
To provide expanded education and experiential opportunities by funding and/or providing adult and children’s programming and museum passes.
To assist funding for technology, subscriptions, and downloadable books.
To make the environment pleasant and to promote the arts by arranging art shows, creating seasonal decorations, and offering complimentary coffee and tea.
To fund special projects as identified by the Library Director and Trustees.
